Invitech is a family run company based in the Cambridge countryside, focused on selling diagnostic tests to labs and hospitals throughout the UK.

In the summer of 2014, Sue and Sophie from Invitech went to Jinja in Uganda, to bring supplies to orphanages and learn more about the local hospitals and way of life. They were prepared for what they were going to see, but what they didn't expect was the sheer love and welcome they received from everyone they met, often being offered food from people's homes, despite barely being able to feed themselves.

With this in mind, and from what they experienced, Invitech began the Invitech Foundation one year later.

ABOUT US

Now with the charity officially opening, Invitech has a number of projects in mind to change the lives of the people Sue and Sophie met out there, with the main goal being to 'teach them to fish'. Giving people the ability to provide for themselves and their family, or to help them to start a business to improve the local community. We see education and healthcare to be of paramount importance in achieving this.

By combining our knowledge of the medical field, and what we know about business, we hope to truly make a difference to some of the people in Jinja.

While we know we can't help everyone, by changing the lives of a few for their entire life, we hope to leave a legacy for generations to come.
