SUPPORT THE CHILDREN

What we do:

We are a family run organisation based in the heart of Cambridgeshire in the UK. Around 2 years ago, we visited Uganda, and spent time seeing the orphanages and learning the difficulties that people face every day. With our knowledge of the medical field, and interest in business and education, we hope to combine these skills to produce a sustainable and beneficial way to help these people for generations to come.

How to help:

We currently have a number of projects underway to improve the lives of people in Uganda. For more information, please take a look at our Get Involved page or Projects page.

To help to create sustainability in an orphanage known as Siita's Nest, located in Jinja, Uganda. The founder, Mama Alice, cares for over 85 children from the ages of 2 - 18, and always tries to keep siblings together and continually encourages further education and independent thinking within all the children.

We have now officially started the Rainwater Project. We need to raise a total of £2000, which will be used purchase and install a rainwater collection tank into the orphanage. This will give them the ability to collect their own rainwater to boil and drink.

This is vital for the sustainability of Siita's nest. As they will no longer need to pay out for fresh water each month, they can invest the money into more sustainable projects such as chickens or a goat. Once again this follows our ethos of helping so they can become self sufficient, and help them for as long as possible.
